Rolling out the welcome mat

Switched on Media helped Australian homewares retailer, Matt Blatt, execute a 2-day Facebook online-to-offline campaign for the launch of its Adelaide store. The campaign was also featured on Facebook Business’ global Success Stories page.

Matt Blatt’s carousel ad campaign with local awareness targeting increased traffic to its offline store over 2 days in July 2016, resulting in:

Increase in sales
More sales in 2 days than in the previous 14 days combined
Increase in foot traffic

We opened our first Adelaide store in an area with very low foot traffic, so we needed a cost-effective way to let Adelaide know we were there. We tried newspapers and magazines with mixed results before Facebook marketing blew them out of the water, resulting in our best launch ever.
